    breakfast view

    Recommend it for couples

The breakfasts were so good , with many traditional pies that we almost forgot our diet. Plus, the balcony view was just amazing, perfect for sipping wine at night.

It wasn’t cheap , but I think it’s still worth it.

    excellent location
    tiny room
    unpleasant odor

The location is perfect for exploring Chania's rich history.

Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by the room's size, which was extremely cramped, and the mattress was uncomfortably firm, leading to restless nights. we encountered a frequent and unpleasant smell in our room. Though the bathroom was quite nice, the small adverse details combined with the small room made me hesitant to recommend this hotel.

    cozy atmosphere
    friendly staff
    stunning views
    tight bathroom space

    Perfect location and charming vibes!

We loved the cozy, old-world charm of the place. The terrace views are stunning, and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the fresh pastries! Just a heads-up, the bathroom space was a little tight for my liking, but it didn't ruin the stay at all.

    attentive service
    delicious breakfast
    missing balcony

lovely stay but room could be improved

The staff showed incredible attention to detail, ensuring every part of our stay was curated to perfection. We especially appreciated the mixology skills of the bartender who crafted us cocktails tailored to our tastes. The breakfast spread offered a delightful variety with fresh and local ingredients, making every morning enjoyable. the city views from our room were uplifting, providing a serene backdrop to our stay.

The room lacked a balcony, which would have enhanced our experience significantly.

    outstanding breakfast
    great view
    cozy lounge
    earlier breakfast option

The breakfast was outstanding with so many great choices, and I loved sitting outside with a view of the marina. There were lovely spots to relax, like the terrace and cozy lounge area. Just a tiny note, an earlier breakfast option would have been nice, but it didn’t spoil my stay at all! 😊

    helpful staff
    great location
    historical charm
    no lifts
    steep steps

the location is perfect for exploring chania and the hotel is super cool since its like 400 years old! we loved how they kept a lot of the old stuff, made our stay feel special. breakfast was really nice, and the staff were sooo helpful! they booked our samari gorge walk real quick right when we checked in. super convenient!

the steps can be steep and there are no lifts, which can be a bit annoying if ur carrying a lot of bags.

    warm atmosphere
    breathtaking view
    steep steps
    lack of elevators
    baggage challenge

Welcoming staff created a warm atmosphere from the start. The beautifully restored 500-year-old building exuded charm, and the view from my room's terrace was breathtaking—perfect for morning coffee. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring an impressive variety, including delicious assorted muffins. navigating the steep steps can be challenging if you have heavy luggage, and the lack of elevators might be a drawback for some. The experience provides both tranquility and vibrant local culture.
